Sharon Pastore
Leveraging expertise in development, marketing, and communications for impact.
Positioning Others to Shine
I help mission-driven communities grow through trust, generosity, and meaningful human connection. My work centers on creating experiences that help people feel seen, supported, and part of something purposeful. I bring a warm, collaborative, and mission-centered approach to everything I do. Outside of work, I play in an acoustic duo with my husband, and am always up for a friendly pickleball match.
Philanthropy & Development Leader
Strategist • Social Entrepreneur
Across every chapter of my 20+ year career, the throughline has been the same: empathy as strategy, storytelling as connection, and the belief that people thrive when they feel understood.
Philanthropy in Senior Living
My current work in senior living allows me to blend strategy, storytelling, and relationship-building to create sustainable, joyful giving cultures. I collaborate with residents, families, and leadership teams to fund initiatives that strengthen community life, support well-being, and honor legacy. Every campaign or project begins with listening and is guided by compassion.
Small Business Marketing and Entrepreneurship
For three years, I ran Empassioned Marketing, a consultancy helping purpose-driven professionals and entrepreneurs communicate their value with confidence and clarity. Through a blend of brand strategy, content development, and web design, I supported leaders across wellness, education, creative industries, and professional services.
Prior, I spent ten years co-building Main Line Family Law Center, a client-centered divorce mediation practice in the Main Line Philadelphia region. In this social entrepreneurship role, I led marketing, brand communication, community outreach, and the design of a compassionate client experience that helped families navigate divorce with clarity and dignity. This decade shaped my understanding of trust-building, service design, and supporting people through vulnerable life moments—skills I bring into my work with donors every day.
Nonprofit Management
Before entrepreneurship, I worked in the nonprofit and education sectors, including roles with MicroSociety and serving in AmeriCorps. These experiences grounded me early in my career in mission-driven work, community program development, and the belief that people of all ages thrive when learning, creativity, and support are accessible.
